Skipping Breakfast Can Lower Your Child's IQ

Your kids might have low IQ's because the lack of eating their breakfast. A study was done at Ohio State University. Breakfast is like fuel for your body, it jumps starts your metabolism and it also controls your weight.

calcium is very important. Make sure they get daily intake of that.

Fiber is very important as well. Whole gains and fiber slows down the digestion. Many people don't know this but fiber and whole grains are fruit. Make sure your child at least get 1200 milligrams of calcium a day. Combining fiber and protein keep will keep them full longer. Make sure it's lean protein.

Breakfast carnations is a good drink to take for breakfast. Carnation instant breakfast has Loads of nutrition.

Also turkey bacon has protein in it as well. We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and yet we tend to skip it anyway. I had no idea that skipping lowers your IQ. You learn something new everyday. I'm going to make sure I eat something for breakfast even if it is just toast.

We certainly want the best for our children and making sure they are prepared nutritiously for the day makes them feel better and function properly. Even if you might not have time to eat breakfast, try buying some of those Nutri-Grain bars or breakfast cookies because we as parents need to take time out and take care of ourselves.
