Many people don't know this but sex can help you to lose weight, boost your immune system and more. Dr. Joy Davidson a New York Psychologist and sex therapist says that sex can enhance our life physically and psychologically. Sex has many health benefits such as it helps to relieve stress and lower blood pressure according to researchers from Scotland. They reported their findings in the Biological Psychology.

Sexually activity meaning intercourse, also boost the immune system. Having sex once or twice a week boost the antibody called immunoglobulin A which helps you to fight off colds and infections.

Now the weight loss. Sex can help you to keep that slim figure. 30 minutes of sex can burn 85 calories. A 42 hour session of sex can burn 3,570 calories. Wow! that's a lot and more than enough to burn a pound.

Patti Britton, PhD, a Los Angeles sexologist and president of the American Association of Sexuality Educators and Therapists. It takes work, from both a physical and psychological perspective, to do it well, she says.
