Fast Weight Loss With The Lemonade Diet! But Is It Safe?
The Lemonade diet consists of drinking a mixture of lemonade, cayenne pepper, maple syrup and water. This cleanse is suppose to clean all of the toxins from the body and reduce your junk food cravings. While on the diet you are not suppose to consume no solid foods.
This diet can last from two weeks to 45 days, depending on the person. They say it’s not too harsh of a diet because it does contain some vitamins and minerals in it.
But for me, I don’t know! I mean it just seems kind of harsh to not be able to eat any solid foods for two weeks or 45 days! That’s just doesn’t sound healthy to me. This lemon mixture was created by Stanly Burroughs in 1941. He created it to find a way to remove harmful toxins from the body; it was not intended for weight loss purposes.
Since you won’t be eating solid foods, drinking a laxative tea or 32 ounces of lukewarm sea salt water is recommend to avoid constipation. You are suppose to drink this tea or water before bed and in the morning.
I know that being a superstar has its perks, but sometimes beauty can harm or even kill. The weight loss quick fixes that the stars go through are just crazy! Beyonce even tried this master cleanse for 14 days and she lost 22 pounds for her role in the 2006 movie Dream girls. But she would not refer it to anyone.
When you are done with the lemonade cleanse you just can’t go off of it just like that. You have to whine yourself off of it. Because of not being able to eat solid foods you have to re- build your stomach’s mucus lining back up. First you would start off by drinking concentrate juices for a full day or two and work your way to eating soups, vegetables, fruits and nuts before going back to your regular eating routine. Some doctors may suggest adding probiotics to help make your intestinal lining back strong.
Although this master cleanse is used in the entertainment business for rapid weight loss, it is not safe at all. Other critics say though you may lose weight from this lemonade program, it is dangerous and is not recommended as a weight loss fix. You are starving yourself and your body is lacking the nutrients that it needs.
Stanly Burroughs created it to clean toxins from the body and for relieving congestion; your body removes these toxins from your body on it own through the lungs, kidneys, liver, pancreas and other organs.
The cleanse does detoxify the body. But it is dangerous as well. It is not a permanent weight loss solution. Those in time will gain the weight back. This diet is unnecessary; there are safer diets out there to accomplish long term weight loss.
